With a camera in his hand and a vision in his mind Mattis starts his creative process. This process is primarily based on the decisive moment which means that Mattis rarely plans or stages his photos, instead they come to him as if knocking on the door. 

Landscape, street and travel photography is what Mattis enjoy most. He finds photographs of people mixed with interesting scenery to posses that extra touch which he is after.
